The Bosphorus Wind Quintet features some of the most prominent players of the Turkish classical music landscape. Originally members and principals with The Istanbul State Symphony and The Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestras, all its members are also principals with The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. With Borusan Philharmonic they have participated in several CD recordings and have toured internationally presenting concerts at famous venues and festivals such as BBC Proms and Wiener Konzerthaus. Apart from many appearances at chamber music concerts and festivals The Bosphorus Wind Quintet made the world premiere and the DVD recording of Fazýl Say’s new Quintet for Winds.
